These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SubGuard Chrome browser extension ("SubGuard", "the extension", or "the service") provided by AZULTA ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using SubGuard, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of Service
SubGuard is a browser extension that helps users track subscriptions and free trials by providing reminders, spending overviews, and detection tools. SubGuard operates entirely within your browser and does not require bank access or financial credentials.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use SubGuard. By using the extension, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
3. Account and Access
SubGuard does not require account creation. The extension works locally in your browser without sign-up. If you choose to connect a Google account for Gmail scanning, you authorize SubGuard to access your Gmail data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
4. Free and Premium Tiers
Free Tier
SubGuard offers a free tier that includes tracking up to 10 subscriptions, renewal reminders, history scan import, and manual entry. The free tier is available at no cost and does not require payment information.
Premium Tier
SubGuard Premium unlocks additional features including unlimited subscription tracking, auto-detection, Gmail scanning, CSV export, cancel links, price change alerts, and category breakdowns. Premium is available for $4.99/month. Premium licenses are activated via license key within the extension.
Refunds
Premium license purchases may be eligible for a refund within 14 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with the service. Contact us at support@azulta.com for refund requests.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the extension
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the extension or premium license keys
- Use the extension for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent premium feature restrictions
- Share premium license keys with others
6. Intellectual Property
SubGuard and all associated content, code, design, and branding are the intellectual property of AZULTA. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the extension for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of SubGuard is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle your data. By using SubGuard, you acknowledge and agree to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
SubGuard is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- All subscriptions will be detected accurately or completely
- Renewal dates, prices, or billing cycles will always be correct
- Notifications will be delivered at exact specified times
SubGuard is a tracking tool and should not be relied upon as the sole method for managing financial obligations. Always verify subscription details directly with the service provider.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AZULTA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the extension
- Missed subscription renewals or trial expirations
- Inaccurate subscription detection or pricing information
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of SubGuard shall not exceed the amount you paid for the extension in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue SubGuard (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify users through the extension.
12. Termination
You may stop using SubGuard at any time by uninstalling the extension. We reserve the right to revoke premium licenses or restrict access to the extension if you violate these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which AZULTA operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
